Ceremony and Reception Information
-
When should we RSVP?
We kindly ask that you RSVP as soon as possible. Your timely response helps us plan and finalize important details, so we would greatly appreciate it if you could let us know at your earliest convenience. Thanks for helping us prepare for this special day!
-
Are childen allowed?
We love the little ones - we really do. Unfortunately, our venue does not allow children, so our wedding and reception will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you can take this opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved night off and party with us! Thank you for understanding.
-
Is there a dress code?
Pajama party!!! Just kidding heehee.
We ask that you wear cocktail / formal attire for our wedding. Ladies could wear dresses, jumpsuits, or chic separates, while gentlemen are encouraged to wear dress pants with a button-up shirt and a blazer or jacket. Please avoid wearing white; otherwise, one of the Jens may accidentally be spilling wine on you! (For reference, Jake and Etty both have moms named Jennifer.)
-
Can I bring a plus one?
Your formal invitation (which will be sent out in June) will specify if you can bring a date. Our favorite kind is Medjool, so maybe keep that in mind :).
-
When should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow plenty of time to park and find your seat. Since the ceremony will take place in beautiful Forest Park, feel free to arrive even earlier and enjoy a stroll through the gardens and picturesque surroundings. You might also catch the Father of the Bride, who’s sure to be there early, looking absolutely dashing in his suit!
-
Will there be an open bar?
Oh, absolutely.
